为积极搭建学院与校友之间沟通交流的桥梁，充分发挥校友在学院建设发展中的作用，3月28日下午，我院在文科楼222举办了以“The Story of Striving”为主题的校友论坛。我院08届英语专业毕业生赵明明担任本期论坛主讲。论坛由院党总支副书记齐艳主持。

齐艳副书记在致辞中，代表全院师生对校友返回母校表示欢迎。她简要介绍了学院近年来各方面工作取得的显著成绩，她指出校友是学校与学院发展的重要组成部分，校友的回访为学院的发展贡献了不可或缺的力量，为母校注入了新鲜血液。随后，赵明明结合自身成长经历和工作经验，就树立爱拼敢赢的人生态度、践行求实创新的事业精神等方面与师弟师妹们展开深入交流，并鼓励大家要夯实基础知识，端正态度，学会坚持，沉稳心态，不断进取。

我院一直以来加强校友的联系工作，不断链接校友资源，促进学生学业学习、创新创业、职业规划等方面的成长，拓展创新育人路径，实现育人实效。

School of Foreign Languages Holds the Sixth Alumni Forum

On the afternoon of March 28th, School of Foreign Languages held an alumni forum whose theme is “The Story of Striving” in Room 222 of Wenke Building, to actively build a bridge of communication between the school and alumni, and to fully give play to the role of alumni in the school's construction and development. The forum was delivered by Zhao Mingming, a graduate of English Major in 2008, and presided over by Qi Yan, vice secretary of the party general branch of the school of foreign languages.

In the speech, Qi Yan welcomed the alumni back to their alma mater on behalf of the whole school. She gave a brief introduction of the remarkable achievements of the college in various aspects in recent years, and pointed out that alumni are an important part of the development of the school and the university, and their return has contributed an indispensable force to the development of the school and injected new blood into the alma mater. Then, combining her own experience of growth, Zhao Mingming carried out deep exchanges with his brothers and sisters in such aspects as setting up a life attitude that she dares to win, practicing the spirit of seeking truth and innovation. She also encouraged everyone to consolidate basic knowledge, correct attitude, learn insisting , settle down, and make progress.

Our school has been strengthening the relationship with alumni, constantly linking alumni resources, promoting students' academic study, innovation and entrepreneurship, career planning and other aspects of growth, and expanding the path of innovative education, to achieve the effectiveness of education.
