3月31日上午，我院教工第一党支部于一教阶梯103举办“讲好中国故事”系列讲座之“智慧孔子”。院教工第一党支部李烁诚老师担任主讲，教工第一党支部全体党员及网络空间安全学院18级同学参加，教工第一党支部书记李显主持。

     一段朗诵《论语》的视频拉开本次讲座的帷幕，激发了大家对孔子及孔学文化的兴趣。随后，李烁诚老师从“孔子生平”、“《论语》概述”、“礼是万事之驱”、“人之初，性本善”以及“何为君子”五个方面进行详细解说。从孔子名字的来源到他的贡献和成就，从引证不同类型的例证及语料到播放形象生动的短视频，从讲解“礼”的潜在力量到分析人性的光辉与黑暗，从阐述中国历史上杰出君子的品性到引导同学们思考如何成为正人君子展开了详细的讲解。最后，李显老师对本次讲座进行总结，告诫大家君子是一种高深的境界，需学无止境，永怀一种虚心学习的心态，方能成大事。

  “讲好中国故事”系列讲座旨在全面推动我院基层党支部建设，创新组织生活形式，以党员教师为依托，讲好中国故事、传播好中国声音，发挥示范引领和带动作用，提高党建育人的针对性和有效性，不断增强党员的“四个意识”和“四个自信”。

Series of lectures on Telling Chinese Stories——Wisdom Confucius held by the First Party Branch of the teaching and administrative staff in School of Foreign Languages

On the morning of March 31, the First Party branch of teaching and administrative staff of our school held a series of lectures on Telling Chinese stories——Wisdom Confucius in the 103 classroom of No.1 Public Building. Li Shuocheng was the keynote speaker. All Party members of the First Party branch and the 2018 session students of the School of Cyberspace Safety participated. Li Xian, secretary of the First Party Branch, presided over the lecture.

This lecture began with a video reciting the Analects of Confucius that stimulated everyone's interest in Confucius and Confucian culture. Subsequently, Professor Li Shuocheng gave a detailed explanation from five aspects: Confucius' life, the outline of the Analects of Confucius, etiquette is the driving force of all things, human nature is good at the beginning, and what is a gentleman. This lecture  interpreted in detail from the origin of Confucius' name to his contributions and achievements, from citing different examples and corpus to broadcasting vivid short videos, from interpreting the potential power of courtesy to analyzing the glory and darkness of human nature, from elaborating the characters of outstanding gentlemen in Chinese history to guiding students to think about how to become a gentleman. Finally, Li Xian summarized this lecture and told everyone that being a gentlemen was a kind of advanced level which need to be learned endlessly and always had a humble attitude while learning so as to achieve great things.

The series of lectures on “Telling Chinese stories”aimed to promote the construction of grass-roots Party branch in our school, innovate organizational lifestyle, tell Chinese stories and spread Chinese voices relying on Party members and teachers, and give full play to the role of demonstration and leadership in order to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of Party in educating people, and constantly strengthen the four consciousness and four self-confidence of Party members.
