为了“讲好成德故事，传承雷锋精神”，继承雷锋战友-刘成德老人遗志，引导广大师生坚定理想信念，弘扬雷锋精神，牢记历史使命。4月4日下午，在清明节到来之际，我院开展悼念刘成德主题党日活动，院党政领导、全体教工党员、学生党员以及平安小学学生代表参加了此次活动。

  我院一行首先来到刘成德墓前，师生们面色凝重，低头哀思，追忆刘老的感人事迹。同学们怀着崇敬的心情，排着整齐的队列向刘成德墓前敬献了花篮。仪式结束后，师生们来到刘成德事迹展览馆，参观过程中大家对刘成德抢救了14名落水战友的英勇事迹以及他与雷锋的认识及相互学习的事迹有了更形象的认识，大家再一次被刘老的事迹深深感动，纷纷表示一定要接过刘老的接力棒，再接再厉，不忘初心，服务群众。

  此次主题党日活动让师生们在思想上受到了一次洗礼，在平安小学学生心中埋下一粒奉献社会，服务大众的种子。参加活动的学生刘硕谈到：“这次活动让我深受教育，没想到我们身边就有这么伟大的爷爷，我一定向爷爷学习，学好本领，多做好事。”

  我院党总支书记陈国兴谈起和刘老在一起的点点滴滴，说一定要将刘老精神传递给更多的学生和老师，用刘老事迹和雷锋精神践行新时代教师职业行为十项准则，引导学生践行社会主义核心价值观，立鸿鹄志，当奋斗者，增强社会责任感和使命感，传递社会正能量，争做新时代的楷模。

The School of Foreign Languages Launched the Thematic Party Day Activity of Cherishing the Memory of Liu Chengde and Inheriting the Spirit of Lei Feng     

For Telling the Stories of Liu Chengde and Inheriting the Spirit of Lei Feng,  following the legacy of Mr. Liu, the Lei Feng's comrades, the school of foreign languages guided the teachers and students to firm their ideals and beliefs, carrying forward the spirit of Lei Feng, keeping the historical mission in mind. On the afternoon of April 4th, before Qingming Festival, the school of foreign languages held the thematic Party Day Activity to mourn for Liu Chengde, which was attended by Party and government leaders, all staff members, student Party members and student representatives from Ping An primary school.

A group of teachers and students with solemn looks, firstly coming to the tomb of Mr. Liu, bowed their heads to mourn the Mr. Liu's touching deeds. Then students with respectful moods, lined up neatly to presented flower baskets in front of the Mr. Liu's tomb. After the memorial, the teachers and students came to the exhibition hall of Liu Chengde heroic deeds. During the visit, they had a more vivid understanding of Mr. Liu's  heroic deeds in rescuing 14 fallen comrades and his knowledge of Lei Feng and their mutual learning, for which everybody once more deeply moved by Mr. Liu's deeds and expressed in succession that they must take over Mr. Liu's baton and make persistent efforts to serve the masses with their initiative minds.

This thematic Party Day Activity has given teachers and students a baptism in their thoughts, planting a seed of dedicating to society and serving the public in the student's hearts of Ping An primary school. Liu Shuo, a student participating in this activity, said: I was deeply educated in this activity and never expect to have such a great grandfather around us, so I must learn from him to do more good things for society and people meanwhile improve myself.

Chen Guoxing, the secretary of the general party branch of our college, talked about the dribs and drabs with Mr. Liu, saying that he must pass on the Mr. Liu's spirit to more students and teachers. At the same time, he would use Mr. Liu's deeds and Lei Feng's spirit to practice the ten guidelines for teachers' professional behavior in the new era, guiding students to practice the core values of socialism and to be the strivers with the noble aspirations as well as enhance their sense of social responsibility and mission to pass on the positive energy of society and strive to be role models in the new era.
