践行新思想，拥抱新时代。为深入贯彻学习习近平总书记新时期关于青年精神的重要讲话精神，弘扬社会新风，培养我院学子乐于奉献的精神，5月9日，我院5名帮扶小队成员赴平安小学，开展“大手拉小手”第二轮结对帮扶活动。

    活动上，队员们先带领同学们复习了上次授课中英文自我介绍的知识，并以此为基础进行了学习内容的扩展与延伸，教给孩子们如何介绍自己的家乡、兴趣爱好、外貌等个人信息。授课与课堂互动结束后，帮扶队员还与同学们进行了数到三不许说的游戏，帮助他们熟悉数字的英文说法，志愿者们富有激情的鼓励激发了孩子们学习英语的兴趣，弥补了学习短板，同时也拉进了与孩子们之间的距离。

本次活动促进我院学子在实践中淬炼本领，在公益中提升修为,在奉献中回馈社会，托起孩子们的梦想。

The students of our college went to Ping 'an primary school to carry out the second round of volunteer activities of big hand haul small hand

  Practice new ideas and embrace the new era. In order to thoroughly carry out the spirit of youth put forward by the general secretary of Xi Jin ping in the new era and the new social spirit, and cultivate the spirit of dedication of students in our school, five members of our school' support team went to Ping 'an primary school to carry out the second round of volunteer activities of big hands pull small hands on 9th May.

  In the activity, members led the students to review the knowledge of self-introduction in English and Chinese in the last lesson, and based on this, they expanded and extended the learning content, and taught the children how to introduce their hometown, hobbies, appearance and other personal information. After the teaching and classroom interaction, the team members also played a game that counting to three without speaking ,which helped them to get familiar with the numbers in English. The passionate encouragement of the volunteers stimulated the children's interest in learning English, made up for their shortcomings in learning, and at the same time get them closer to the children.

  This activity improved the students' practical ability. They improved  themselves in public welfare activities, gave back to the society, and supported the children's dreams.
