为了提高同学们对英语学习的热情，增强英语学习的自主能力，促进同学们自我修养的全面发展，我院于5月18日在外语角举办了第95期外语角活动，大外教学部梁雨田老师担任指导，日语18级1班同学参加此次活动。

活动开始，梁雨田老师带领大家共同了解了法国巴黎圣母院着火事件，向同学们传授了相关的背景和文化知识，对陌生单词进行了解释，并向同学们拓展了课外知识。同学们依次阅读了新闻中的优秀句子，做好了随堂笔记。随后，热衷于从新闻中学习和总结知识的同学们分组交流学习经验，学习热情高涨。

英语新闻的学习，有利于扩大同学们的知识面，提高同学们对英语的求知性。通过外语角活动，让每个人都大胆地讲英语，一定程度上增强了同学们学习英语的积极性，同学们可以积累和总结经验，提高对英语学习的自信心，外语角活动也为我院培养外语人才打下了坚实的基础。

Our school of foreign languages successfully held the 95th foreign language corner activity

In order to improve students' enthusiasm for English learning, our school held the 95th foreign language corner activity on May 18th and freshmen in grade one who majored in Japanese took part in this activity under the guidance of Liang Yutian, a teacher from college foreign language department, which can enhance their independent ability and promote the all-round development of students' self-cultivation

At the beginning of the activity, Ms. Liang led us to learn the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris of France and taught the relevant background and cultural knowledge to the students, explaining the unfamiliar words and expanding their extracurricular knowledge. The students read the excellent sentences in the news successively and made notes. Afterwards, students who were keen on learning and summarizing knowledge from news exchanged their learning experience in groups with their high enthusiasm for learning.

English news learning is conducive to expanding students' scope of knowledge and improving students' understanding of English. Everyone could speak English boldly through the foreign language corner, which enhanced the students' enthusiasm for learning English to some extent. In addition, students could accumulate and summarize experience to improve their self-confidence in learning English. In addition, the foreign language corner activity also laid a solid foundation for our school to cultivate foreign language talents.
