5月25、26日，第十一届山东省大学生科技节暨“外教社”杯山东省大学生科技外语大赛在我校举行。

本次大赛设有英语、日语两个语种，分各学校初赛、全省复赛和决赛三个阶段。共有来自山东大学、中国石油大学（华东）、济南大学、鲁东大学、潍坊医学院等学校42所高校师生参加。前期各学校初赛分别决出82名和50名选手参加英语组、日语组的复赛和决赛。

大赛开幕式由副校长曹茂永致辞，437必赢会员中心院长郑众主持。曹校长对大赛组委会以及兄弟院校对学校的支持和鼓励表示感谢，对莅临的专家评委及观摩教师表示欢迎，介绍了BWIN必赢官网的办学情况并宣布大赛开幕。英语组复赛分为笔试和主题演讲两个环节，最终决出16名选手进入决赛，决赛采取现场口译的方式，包括英译中和中译英两个部分。日语组复赛经过笔试决出30名选手进入决赛，决赛形式为主题演讲。

经过激烈角逐和严格评审，来自鲁东大学于瑞智、曲阜师范大学王洋洋、济南大学徐佳萌、聊城大学郭晓睿荣获英语组一等奖；山东大学李敏敏、BWIN必赢官网杨玉欢荣获日语组一等奖。

山东省大学生科技外语大赛是山东省大学生科技节的重要组成部分，本次大赛由山东省科协、省教育厅、团省委、省发改委、省工信厅、省人社厅联合主办，BWIN必赢官网（山东省科学院）承办，上海外语教育出版社协办。本次大赛旨在激发我省大学生学习科技外语的积极性和主动性，提高大学生的外语应用能力，推动大学生努力学习科技知识，对促进和带动大学生成才就业产生了积极影响，受到各高校的高度重视和广大师生的热烈欢迎。

Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) held the 11th Shandong College Students Science and Technology Festival and Foreign Language Education Press Cup of Science and Technology Foreign Language Competition

On May 25th and 26th, the 11th Shandong College Students Science and Technology Festival and Foreign Language Education Press Cup foreign language competition were held in our school.

This competition included two languages----English and Japanese, divided into three stages: preliminary competition among each university, provincial rematch and final competition. A large number of teachers and students from 42 universities participated this activity, such as Shandong University, China University of Petroleum (East China), Jinan University, Ludong University, Weifang Medical University. In the preliminary competition of each school, 82 and 50 contestants will participate in the rematch and final of English group and Japanese group respectively.

The opening ceremony was presided over by vice President Cao Maoyong and  Zheng Zhong, dean of the School of Foreign Languages. Cao gave thanks to the organizing committee of the competition and other universities for their support and encouragement, and welcomed the expert judges and teachers. He also introduced the running situation of Qilu University of Technology and announced the opening of the competition. The English team rematch was divided into two parts: written test and keynote speech. 16 contestants would be selected to enter the final competition. The final competition would be conducted through live interpretation, including translation from English to Chinese and Chinese to English. After written examination, 30 contestants of Japanese group would enter the final. The final form was keynote speech.

After fierce competition and strict evaluation, Yu Ruizi from Shandong University, Wang Yangyang from Qufu Normal University, Xu Jiameng from Jinan University and Guo Xiaorui from Liaocheng University won the first prize in the English group. Li minmin of Shandong University and Yang Yuhuan of Qilu University of Technology won the first prize in the Japanese group.

Shandong University Student Science and Technology Foreign Language Competition was an important part of Shandong University Student Science and Technology Festival. The competition was sponsored by the Shandong Association For Science and Technology, Education Department of Shandong, the League Committee, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information, and Shandong Human Resources and Social Security Department. It was undertook by Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences) and jointly sponsored by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. This competition aimed to stimulate the enthusiasm and initiative of college students in our province to learn science and technology and foreign languages, improve their foreign language application ability, promote their efforts to learn science and technology knowledge. This competition had a positive impact on promoting and driving the development and employment of college students, and was attached great importance by each universities and warmly welcomed by all teachers and students.
